TimeMachiner. Tech, culture, nostalgia. By Aaron Crocco
The Stream

Hi everyone. A special welcome to those of you from Land of Random who have come to check out my corner of the internet. I hope you like what you read. You can always hit reply on this email and let me know your thoughts.

The TimeMachiner Reader Survey is now open. Filling it out helps me gauge how to improve TimeMachiner to make it even better. It takes about 5-minutes to complete and I want your feedback. You can fill out the survey here: https://forms.gle/Bp4JFKhYdNL3LJtN6

WHY AM I ASKING YOU TO FILL OUT A SURVEY?
Simple: I never include any tracking in TimeMachiner. My newsletters have no click tracking, analytics, or anything else. The only time I know you've done something is when you choose to click on the feedback buttons at the bottom of every issue. I'm big on privacy and in turn I respect yours.

This week I finished season 2 of Upload, the near-future dystopian comedy about the afterlife. It was a shorter season and the final episode went by so fast, I couldn't believe it was over. Now begins another long wait for whenever the next season comes.

Did anyone catch the latest Doctor Who from Sunday? That was... something. I know opinions about the Who universe can be polarizing but I'll say this: I'm happy to see a change in writing coming soon for this show. Jodie has been a great Doctor and I will miss her. But goodness, these stories have been tough.

The internet is a pretty vast ocean of information. That's why Pearl Runner is a great newsletter to check out. Mark does a great job of bringing interesting happenings to you each week. Check out Pearl Runner here.

Let's close this issue out with today's factoid:

There is a part of Yellowstone National Park where a person could theoretically get away with murder due to a loophole. Source

That's it for today. Thank you for reading.
