Read to the end to procrastinate.
Hey there! It's Tuesday and here's a fresh issue of TimeMachiner. A big hello to everyone who's new this week. Thank you for giving me space in your inbox. 🙌🏻
This past week has been one of games. My time has been taken up playing the amazing Horizon Zero Dawn on PS4. This game, which I borrowed from the library, has been stellar and late last week I completed the main story. Overall, I give Horizon high marks.
One great thing about getting it from my local library was the fact that this game cost me only the $5 Sony charged for the add-on DLC pack. This small purchase will give me more things to do and extends the story a bit. I'll look to jump into that soon. After that, I'll likely borrow the sequel from the library too.
If you're looking for an open-world game with stellar storytelling (akin to Zelda's Breath of the Wild) then Horizon is a fantastic choice.
October is also the beginning of Hockey season. My beloved New York Islanders took to the ice twice so far and I happened to find myself at both games. Fun times were had, but my goodness it is expensive. Ticket prices aside, parking my car was $30, water was $8 per bottle, and while the food was decent, it still cost more than I'd ever like to pay for a meal. Either way, the team split the games with a loss and then a win. I may be into a lot of nerdy stuff but when it comes to hockey, I'm all in. I love it. I even covered hockey a couple of times in the early days of TimeMachiner.
If it's not your thing, that's cool. Sometimes just seeing great sports highlights can be really fun.
Onto the rest of today's issue!

POLL OF THE WEEK
Last Week's Results:
Would you rather live in a treehouse or in an underwater bunker with views of the ocean floor?
This was a complete blowout! Personally, I'd go with Treehouse too. When you think about it: a bird's eye view would be super-awesome. The ocean floor could be amazing, but you would only get to see a tiny piece of the bigger picture.
Is a hamburger a sandwich?
Results will be posted in the next newsletter.
